Jonathan Francis is an architect and self-taught artist, whose work is rooted in material sensitivity, craft, and restraint.

After working independently on architectural and design projects, and exhibiting his art in multiple cities across India, he returned to Ranchi in 2018 to establish Atelier Aveque, where he serves as principal, leading a practice that explores contemporary design through natural materials, local resources, and collaborations with skilled craftsmen.
